The Mauritanian news site “Anbaa” conducted a wide-ranging journalistic survey covering both Mauritania and Senegal to gather the opinions of citizens and elites from the two countries regarding their views on the Moroccan Throne Day.
The survey results showed a clear and shared convergence of attitudes toward this national Moroccan occasion, with the majority of participants expressing deep pride in the Throne Day. They considered it a symbolic event that extends beyond Morocco’s borders to resonate with many African peoples.
Participants affirmed that the Throne Day carries special significance reflecting the personality of King Mohammed VI, who enjoys great respect and a high stature in their hearts. They highlighted the King’s wisdom, foresight, and the significant efforts he makes to strengthen African cooperation and defend the continent’s causes.
The survey underscores Morocco’s pivotal role, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, in establishing strong relations with African countries and adopting balanced positions on their critical issues, reflecting the deep bonds between Moroccans and their African brothers.
