Salah – Gabriela Rodríguez de Bukele, the First Lady of the Republic of El Salvador, arrived in Morocco today, Sunday, for an official working visit to the Kingdom.
Upon her arrival at Rabat-Salé Airport, she was received by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asma, who inspected a formation of the Auxiliary Forces that rendered honors.
Following the inspection, the First Lady and Princess Lalla Asma were greeted by the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region and Governor of Rabat Province, Mr. Mohamed Yacoubi; the President of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region, Mr. Rachid El Abdi; and the Governor of Salé Province, Mr. Omar Touimi.
Also present to pay their respects were the President of the Salé Province Council, Mr. Nour Eddine Azraq; the President of the Salé Municipal Council, Mr. Omar Senetisi; the CEO of Lalla Asma Foundation, Mr. Karim Al-Saqli; and the Ambassador and Director General of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation, Mr. Mohamed Mitsqal.
Additionally, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador in Morocco, Ms. Alejandra Samour Santana, along with members of the Salvadoran Embassy and the First Lady’s accompanying delegation, took part in the reception.
In keeping with authentic Moroccan traditions, milk and dates were presented to Gabriela Rodríguez de Bukele as a gesture of warm hospitality.
After a brief rest in the VIP lounge of the airport, the procession of Princess Lalla Asma and the First Lady proceeded to the residence of Gabriela Rodríguez de Bukele to continue the visit program.
This visit represents an opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations between Morocco and the Republic of El Salvador across various fields, reflecting the mutual desire to enhance cooperation.
