The Head of the First Administrative Annex in the municipality of Ech-Challalate, Mohammedia Province, was subjected to a violent attack on Tuesday, July 22, while conducting a field operation aimed at enforcing public order and reclaiming public spaces in the area.
According to local sources, the official was leading an operation to clear a public area illegally occupied by street vendors at a known roundabout. As he attempted to evacuate the space, he was violently assaulted by one of the vendors, who threw glass objects at him, causing significant damage to his service vehicle.
Immediately following the incident, the Royal Gendarmerie in Ech-Challalate intervened swiftly, initiating an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the attack and to take the necessary legal actions against the assailant.
