In implementation of the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, a delegation from the Royal Armed Forces participated in the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the independence of the Union of the Comoros, in response to an official invitation extended to the Kingdom of Morocco.
The delegation included a platoon from the 2nd Paratroopers Brigade, which took part in the military parade held in the capital, Moroni, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, alongside the Comorian Armed Forces, in celebration of the national independence day of the Union of the Comoros.
This participation reflects the deep and strong bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries, especially in the military field. It also aligns with Morocco’s policy of solidarity with African nations by providing support and sharing joyful moments during important national occasions and historical commemorations.
This step comes within the framework of strengthening military cooperation and bilateral ties between Morocco and the Union of the Comoros, enhancing the bonds of collaboration and mutual understanding between the two brotherly peoples.
