The group “Ultras Fatal Tigers 2006” issued an official statement expressing deep concern over the ongoing crisis and complexity surrounding Moghreb Fes football club, describing the situation as a seemingly inevitable fate that the club must endure season after season. The club continues to navigate turbulent waters marked by factional conflicts and interest-driven coalitions, preventing the team from reaching a stable harbor that would foster growth and development.
The statement highlights that any faint glimmer of hope or internal reform within the club is systematically suppressed and obstructed, leaving the club’s status quo unchanged.
The group emphasized its unwavering commitment to defending the “Yellow Fortress” and the club’s interests by all available means. Despite persistent efforts to reconcile differences and unify visions among stakeholders for the greater good, recent developments—especially the escalating conflict between the club’s association and the managing company—have led to a deadlock with no room for negotiation. The group accuses certain parties of deliberately sabotaging the project and waging proxy battles against the company and the new management.
Ultras Fatal Tigers assert that they have actively voiced the fans’ demands for institutional modernization as a fundamental lever to elevate the club to a modern, progressive model that meets current challenges. This message has been conveyed directly to the association’s president and board, who have reportedly acknowledged the fans’ call for change and promised to resign at the upcoming general assembly, scheduled to be announced soon.
However, the group warns of a legal complication following the president’s resignation, related to the association’s bylaws. The resulting vacancy would be filled by a vote among former association members, most of whom are loyal to the Al-Jamoui family. This means the power to decide the club’s future remains in the family’s hands. The group poses a critical question: will the family choose the club’s welfare and reform, or continue policies of destruction and resistance to change?
The statement directly holds the Al-Jamoui family fully responsible for any harm or failure that may befall Moghreb Fes, stressing that the fans will not hesitate to oppose anyone who harms the club or wishes it ill.
Additionally, the group has communicated the fans’ demands to the managing company, which include competing for titles in the upcoming season rather than merely avoiding relegation, establishing continuous and transparent communication with supporters, resolving issues related to purchasing club merchandise and financial support, and addressing organizational and ticketing irregularities during matches.
All efforts by the group and the fans aim at amicably resolving disputes and preserving past achievements. Nevertheless, they warn that if the situation deteriorates, the supporters will make their voices heard loudly in the streets and public squares.
