Boufarik Military Airport in Algeria received a plane from Iran carrying the remains of four Algerian officers who were killed at the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in central Tehran during a high-level military meeting targeted by an Israeli airstrike.
The Iranian authorities handed over the remains to Algeria in an official ceremony attended by the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Mr. Eid Rabieka, representing Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
This gesture reflects the coordination and solidarity between Algeria and Iran and underscores Algeria’s respect for its fallen officers who lost their lives under tragic circumstances during this attack, which has prompted widespread international reactions.
