His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid Presents the Throne Cup to Olympique Safi Captain After Victory Over Nahdat Berkane in Fez Final

Fez – This Sunday evening at the Fez Sports Complex, Olympique Safi was crowned the champion of the 2023-2024 Throne Cup season following their thrilling victory over Nahdat Berkane in a penalty shootout, winning 6-5 after a 1-1 draw in both regular and extra time.

In a solemn ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid presented the Throne Cup trophy to the captain of Olympique Safi, symbolizing the royal family’s support and patronage of national sports and encouraging Moroccan teams to continue their dedication and excellence.

The intense match was officiated by international referee Jalal Jaïd, assisted by Mohamed Nakha and Lahcen Azkagh, with Abdel Rahim Rakhiz overseeing the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system. Match supervisors Taher Mansouri and Khalid Mghafri also monitored the game.
