Phone Call Between Emir of Qatar and King of Morocco Affirms Solidarity with Qatar and Condemns Iranian Attack on Al Udeid Air Base

The Qatari News Agency reported that His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, received a phone call today from his brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the call, King Mohammed VI affirmed Morocco’s full solidarity with the State of Qatar and strongly condemned the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base, describing it as a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and airspace, as well as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

His Majesty also emphasized his firm rejection of any aggression that threatens the security and safety of Qatar and undermines the stability and security of the region, urging the Emir to exercise restraint and resort to diplomatic solutions to resolve the crisis.

In response, His Highness the Emir expressed his gratitude to King Mohammed VI for his sincere fraternal feelings and appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people, reaffirming the deep historical and brotherly ties between the two sister countries.
