The Kingdom of Morocco, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has expressed its strong condemnation of the brazen missile attack targeting the sovereignty and airspace of the sisterly State of Qatar. The ministry affirmed Morocco’s full support for Qatar in confronting this aggression, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
In its statement, the ministry emphasized Morocco’s firm rejection of this hostile act that threatens the security and stability of the region, underscoring the necessity of respecting the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
Morocco reiterated its steadfast position in support of the unity and territorial integrity of Qatar, expressing confidence in the Qatari Armed Forces’ ability to counter any threats and maintain the country’s security.
This statement comes amid widespread condemnation from Arab countries and regional organizations of the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which was deemed a flagrant violation of Qatari sovereignty and a threat to the security of the entire region. Calls have been made for urgent international action to deter such aggressions and ensure stability in the Arabian Gulf.
