Israeli writer and academic Idan Lando, known for his critical stance toward his government’s policies, posted a sarcastic tweet on the social media platform X on the evening of June 19, 2025, criticizing the official Israeli government narrative regarding the Soroka Hospital incident in Be’er Sheva.

“Israel did not only bomb hospitals in the Gaza Strip, but also schools, universities, libraries, agricultural greenhouses, water tanks, rescue vehicles, water desalination plants, food warehouses, markets, public buildings, and more. I hope the Iranians haven’t heard all this.”
