The UAE authorities announced today, Tuesday, the evacuation of 24 crew members from the oil tanker “ADALYNN” following a collision between two oil tankers in the waters of the Sea of Oman.
According to the UAE news agency, the UAE National Guard Coast Guard conducted the evacuation operation at the accident site, located 24 nautical miles off the UAE coast.
All crew members were safely transferred to the port of Khorfakkan on the eastern coast via search and rescue boats, with no casualties reported. Further details regarding the cause of the collision or the status of the second tanker have not yet been disclosed.
