On the evening of Saturday, June 14, the units of the Judicial Police Department in Casablanca succeeded in arresting a person suspected of involvement in a case of robbery with violence and the use of a motorized vehicle.
The suspect was apprehended after, along with another individual, they assaulted a woman and violently robbed her in a public street in Casablanca. This criminal act was recorded in a video that circulated widely on social media platforms.
Intensive investigations and inquiries led to the identification of the two suspects, resulting in the arrest of one of them on Saturday. The search for the second suspect continues after his full identity was established.
The arrested individual is currently undergoing judicial interrogation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover all the circumstances and details of the case, while security efforts persist to apprehend the second suspect and refer the file to justice.
