The Casablanca Security Department responded promptly and seriously to a video circulating on social media showing a car driver committing a theft against a person in a public street in the city.
Investigations conducted by the Ibn M’sik Security District in Casablanca revealed that this case falls under criminal offenses being rigorously addressed by the authorities. The inquiry showed that the victim had not filed any complaint or report regarding the criminal acts depicted in the video. However, ongoing investigations led to the identification and arrest of the suspect on Thursday evening.
The suspect has been placed under judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover all circumstances, backgrounds, and details of the case, as well as to determine all criminal acts attributed to the individual. Security services continue their work to complete the investigations and take the necessary legal measures.
