Based on precise information provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, police officers from the Khemisset Regional Security Division arrested three individuals, aged between 29 and 33, early Thursday morning, June 12, 2025, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking and psychotropic substances.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the Royal Gendarmerie officers in the rural area of Ait Yadine, where the suspects were caught red-handed in possession of and attempting to smuggle 1,700 psychotropic pills inside a private vehicle.
The suspects have been placed under judicial custody at the disposal of the competent public prosecutor’s office, which is conducting an investigation to uncover all circumstances surrounding the case and identify any further extensions of this criminal activity.
