The National Road Safety Agency (NARSA) announced in an official statement the activation of a new system to monitor traffic violations in both directions (going and coming) using fixed automated radars, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and intensify monitoring on the roads.
The agency explained that this system will include monitoring violations committed in both directions, including vehicles approaching or moving away from the device, starting from June 16, 2025.
The statement confirmed that this measure aims to achieve greater fairness in monitoring traffic violations and to promote the principle of equality among all road users, as it will enable the detection of all violations regardless of the direction of traffic.
At the end of the statement, the National Road Safety Agency called on all drivers to respect the legal speed limit and fully comply with traffic rules to ensure their safety and the safety of all road users.
