The Tunisian National Team Arrives at Marriott Hotel in Fez in Preparation for Friendly Match Against Morocco

Fez, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 – The Tunisian national football team has arrived in the city of Fez and settled at the renowned Marriott Hotel, preparing for a highly anticipated friendly match against the Moroccan national team scheduled for Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Fez Grand Stadium. This match comes as part of both teams’ preparations for upcoming continental and international competitions, as well as to strengthen sporting cooperation between the two countries.

The Carthage Eagles recently secured a 2-0 victory in a friendly against Burkina Faso under the leadership of their coach Sami Trabelsi, who continues to prepare the squad ahead of the encounter with Morocco. The selection of the Marriott Hotel for the Tunisian team’s accommodation is part of the World Cup-standard lodging system adopted in Morocco for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, ensuring optimal comfort and training conditions for participating teams.

The June 6 match will provide both teams an opportunity to test their tactical formations and assess player readiness, followed by a second friendly where Morocco will face Benin on Monday, June 9, 2025, also at the Fez Grand Stadium.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has confirmed that the Fez Grand Stadium is fully prepared to host these friendly matches as part of the “Lions of the Atlas” preparations for upcoming competitions, offering ideal conditions for players and fans alike.

Sports fans in both Morocco and Tunisia eagerly anticipate a competitive and spirited match between the two brotherly nations, marked by enthusiasm and fair play.
