Fez Grand Stadium Launches Advanced Electronic System to Organize Spectator Entry and Enhance Safety Measures

Fez – Fez News

As part of the preparations to host international friendly matches and accommodate large crowds, officials at Fez Grand Stadium have unveiled a sophisticated electronic system designed to organize spectator entry and strengthen safety procedures within the sports complex, according to a video report published by Fez News channel.

Integrated Electronic System

During a field tour captured on camera, stadium officials explained that the new system relies on electronic tickets featuring a unique QR code scanned at entry gates. This allows precise identification of each spectator and pre-assignment of their seating location within the stands. One official stated, “Every person entering the stadium will be known to us, and their seat location will be electronically predetermined.”

Strict Measures to Prevent Fraud

The demonstration highlighted the impossibility of two people entering with the same ticket or using counterfeit tickets, as instant alerts appear if any attempt to manipulate or reuse a ticket is detected. Procedures for handling suspicious cases were also showcased, with invalid or previously used tickets being denied entry.

Facilitating Crowd Access with Guides

Organizers noted that guides and technicians have been deployed to assist spectators in accessing the stadium and navigating through the electronic gates, especially since large numbers of fans may not be fully familiar with the new procedures. They emphasized that the system aims to reduce waiting times and ensure smooth entry without congestion or disorder.

Enhancing Fan Experience and Ensuring Safety

This initiative is part of the comprehensive upgrades recently undertaken at Fez Grand Stadium, which also included infrastructure improvements and strengthened safety and security conditions inside and around the stadium. Officials hope these measures will provide a comfortable and secure experience for attendees, in line with international standards adopted by major stadiums.

Preparations for Important Football Events

These updates come ahead of the scheduled friendly matches of the Moroccan national team against Tunisia and Benin this June, as part of the preparations to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup. This reflects Morocco’s commitment to developing its sports infrastructure and presenting a modern image on the international stage.
