Ethics Committee Imposes Harsh Penalties on CODM Meknes Players After Assaulting Journalists

Rabat, Morocco – The Ethics Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has issued strict disciplinary decisions against several players from Club Omnisports de Meknès (CODM Meknes), following their assault on press photographers during a match against Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi.

The committee ruled to:

  • Suspend player Oussama Eddaoui for two effective matches and fine him 10,000 Moroccan Dirhams, due to his assault on a press photographer.
  • Suspend player Aziz Ait Ali for two effective matches and fine him 10,000 Moroccan Dirhams, for the same reason of assaulting a press photographer.
  • Suspend player Mohcine Rebjia for three effective matches and fine him 20,000 Moroccan Dirhams, also for assaulting a press photographer.

These decisions underscore the Federation’s firm stance against any unsportsmanlike conduct or assaults on media representatives, and aim to reinforce commitment to sportsmanship and ethics within stadiums.
