Fes Security Launches Extensive Campaign Targeting Suspicious Motorcycle Riders

Fes, Morocco – In recent hours, security services in the city of Fes have initiated a widespread security campaign targeting a large number of motorcycle owners. This comes as part of efforts to enhance security stability indicators in the city and to counter crime phenomena linked to “snatching” and “dangerous stunt driving.”

According to Fes News sources, this campaign was launched after growing suspicions regarding the involvement of some motorcycle users in snatch-and-grab theft operations, particularly in popular neighborhoods and major streets. The campaign also addresses reckless stunt driving practices that threaten citizens’ lives and violate traffic laws.

Security patrols were seen deployed at several points across various parts of the city, especially in high-traffic areas. A number of suspicious motorcycles were stopped, their legal documents verified, and necessary procedures initiated against violators.

This campaign, according to available information, falls within a proactive security plan aimed at curbing crime and achieving greater peace of mind among residents, especially with the approaching school season and the increase in daily commutes.
