The Higher Teacher Training School in Meknes and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Dhar El Mahraz in Fez will host an international conference on “Education, Cognitive Sciences, and the Stakes of Educational Renewal in Educational Institutions” during the period from May 26 to 28, 2025.
This conference is the result of cooperation between several Moroccan academic and research institutions, primarily Moulay Ismail University and Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, with the participation of several specialized research laboratories, namely:
-Laboratory of Educational Sciences, Philosophy, and Humanities
-Laboratory of Language Sciences, Literature, Arts, Communication, History, and Education
-Laboratory of Clinical Neurosciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy
The Moroccan Foundation for the Promotion of Early Childhood Education and the Journal of Cognitive Research, an international peer-reviewed journal specializing in cognitive sciences, are also participating in organizing the conference.
This international conference aims to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to educational renewal in educational institutions, with a focus on the role of cognitive sciences in developing the educational system.
