Rabat – The Moroccan women’s national futsal team has won the title of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Morocco 2025) after defeating their Tanzanian counterparts 3-2 in the final match played on Wednesday evening at the covered hall of the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
The goals for Morocco were scored by Doha El Madani (20th minute), Drissia Korrych (34th minute), and Jasmine Demraoui (40th minute), while Anastazia Katunzi (4th minute) and Jamila Rajabu (16th minute) scored for Tanzania.
By reaching the final of this AFCON, both the Moroccan and Tanzanian teams have secured their spots in the FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, scheduled to take place in the Philippines from November 27 to December 7, 2025.
