Road Construction Project Between Taza and Taounate Launched to Improve Mobility and Reduce Isolation

The construction of the road linking the Kaf El Ghar commune in the Taza province and the Bani Walid commune in the Taounate province, passing through the Kharouba Ejraoua area and the Al Mahamda village, has officially begun.

Mohamed Cherfi, a communal councilor, explained that the first phase of the project began in April, within the framework of the integrated rural development project in the mountainous areas of the مقدمة الريف in the Taza province. Cherfi added in a statement to the Second Channel website that the first phase extends over a distance of 7 kilometers and will connect Kharouba Ejraoua with the Al Mahriin village, while another 7 kilometers will be added to connect the Al Mahamda village with the Bani Walid commune in the Taounate province.

This project is of great importance in breaking the isolation of the residents of the two provinces and enhancing mobility between them, especially in light of the existing trade relations between the inhabitants of the two regions. It should be noted that the Kaf El Ghar commune in the Taza province represents an important administrative center for many citizens in the Taounate province, who depend on it to obtain their administrative documents.
