Renaissance Berkane Thrash CS Constantine with Four Goals in Confederation Cup Semi-Final First Leg

Berkane: Renaissance Berkane secured a resounding victory over their Algerian visitors, CS Constantine, with a 4-0 scoreline in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final clash held today, Sunday, April 20th.

The Moroccan side wasted no time in opening the scoring, with Youssef Mehri finding the back of the net in the very first minute. Striker Paul Bassène further extended Renaissance Berkane’s lead with a second goal in the 21st minute of the first half.

In the second half, the home team continued their dominance, with Oussama Lamlioui adding a third goal in the 54th minute. Just moments before the final whistle, in the second minute of added time (90+2), Renaissance Berkane sealed a comfortable and well-deserved victory in the first leg of the Confederation Cup semi-final with their fourth goal.

With this significant win, Renaissance Berkane has placed one foot in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup, now awaiting the return leg in Algeria to confirm their qualification.
