Fes News has learned from informed sources that the Provincial Academy of Education and Training in the Fes-Meknes region supervised the appointment of Layla Ahmout as the new Regional Director of Education and Training in Sefrou on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, succeeding Mohamed Kalil.
According to the same sources, the inauguration ceremony was attended by the Academy’s Director, Fouad Arouadi, who praised the efforts of the former regional director and acknowledged his contributions to advancing the educational sector in the province. He also highlighted the career path of the newly appointed director, emphasizing her extensive experience in administrative and educational management, which qualifies her to lead the directorate efficiently in the coming phase.
The Academy’s Director called on all administrative and educational staff to redouble their efforts to ensure the success of strategic projects aimed at reforming the national education system, early childhood education, and sports, in line with the 2022-2026 roadmap.
In this context, Mohamed Kalil expressed his gratitude to all educational stakeholders in the directorate, commending the spirit of cooperation that contributed to achieving several set objectives. On the other hand, Layla Ahmout expressed her pride in the trust placed in her, affirming her commitment to collaborative work and effective communication to achieve the desired goals.
