Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Moroccan boxer Widad Bertal, who was crowned world champion in the (52-54 kg) category at the 2025 Women’s World Boxing Championships held in Serbia.
In his message, His Majesty expressed his warmest congratulations to the world champion for this remarkable achievement, which is the result of her perseverance and ambition to raise the national flag high on the podiums and to etch her name forever among the great champions.
His Majesty affirmed that he shares the Moroccan boxer’s feelings of great joy and pride following this well-deserved victory, wishing her further success and excellence in future competitions.
