In a significant operation, the Anti-Gang Unit of the Regional Judicial Police Service in Nador successfully intercepted a large-scale smuggling and distribution operation involving illegal alcoholic beverages. The operation, carried out on Saturday, March 15, resulted in the seizure of 18,570 bottles of unlicensed alcohol.
The raid targeted a secret warehouse in the rural area of Selouane, near Nador, where the contraband was being stored in preparation for illegal distribution. Authorities confiscated a wide variety of alcoholic beverages of different types and sizes, reinforcing ongoing efforts to combat illicit alcohol trade.
Investigations are still underway under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office to identify all individuals involved in this operation. A national arrest warrant has been issued against the owner of the warehouse, whose identity has been confirmed.
