The Political Bureau of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) held its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the party’s central headquarters in Rabat, under the leadership of the collective leadership of the General Secretariat. The meeting focused on the latest national political developments and internal organizational matters of the party.
Commendation of Royal Decisions and Calls for Strengthening Social Rights
The meeting began with the Political Bureau extending congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people on the occasion of Ramadan, wishing it to be a month of blessings and prosperity for all. The party also reiterated its high appreciation for the royal decision to forgo the Eid sacrifice this year, considering it a reflection of the King’s continued concern for the economic and social conditions of certain segments of society, particularly those with limited income.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, PAM congratulated Moroccan women, commending the achievements made under the leadership of His Majesty the King. The party also stressed the need for further political and economic measures to enhance equality within Moroccan society.
Moroccan-French Relations at the Forefront of Political Discussions
On the diplomatic front, PAM expressed satisfaction with France’s firm stance on Morocco’s territorial integrity. The party praised the visit of the President of the French Senate to the Moroccan Sahara, which followed a series of successful official visits, including that of the French Minister of Culture at the invitation of Moroccan Minister of Culture Mohamed Mehdi Bensaïd. The Political Bureau emphasized that these developments underscore the strength of strategic relations between the two nations across political, cultural, and economic spheres.
Price Monitoring and Combating Speculation During Ramadan
With the arrival of Ramadan, the Political Bureau drew attention to the continuous rise in prices, urging the government to intensify market oversight and take strict measures against speculators and intermediaries who exploit economic conditions for illicit profits. The party also called for the cancellation of tax and customs exemptions that failed to achieve their intended goal of reducing meat prices.

On the international front, the Political Bureau expressed satisfaction with the continuation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The party called for an end to Israeli attacks on civilians in the West Bank and for the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid to Palestinians. It also praised the ongoing international recognition of the efforts made by King Mohammed VI, in his capacity as Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in defending Palestinian rights and supporting the resilience of Jerusalem’s residents through humanitarian projects.
