Kawkab Marrakech continued its strong performance in the National Second Division League, securing an important 2-1 victory over host Wydad Fassi in a match held at the Hassan II Stadium in Fes.
This win, part of Round 20 of the professional second division league, further solidifies Kawkab Marrakech’s position at the top of the standings.
The goals for Kawkab Marrakech were scored by Fonti and Salami, providing their team with three crucial points in the competition. With this victory, the team increased its total to 38 points, pulling 9 points ahead of the closest rivals, Olympique Dcheira and Raja Beni Mellal.
On the other hand, Wydad Fassi’s points remained at 26, keeping them in 8th place in the standings, highlighting the challenges they face this season in the league.
