Condolences and Compassion Message from His Majesty the King to the Family of the Late Naïma Samih

Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family members of the great Moroccan singer, Naïma Samih.

In this message, His Majesty the King expressed deep sorrow upon learning of the passing of this great artist, whose death represents a “loss not only for her family but also for the national artistic scene, which has lost one of its brightest stars who shone for decades in the realm of authentic Arabic music. With her melodious voice, distinctive tone, and elevated artistic sense, she left behind musical gems that will forever remain etched in the repertoire of Moroccan music and in the memory of her national and Arab audience.”

In this painful moment, the Sovereign extended his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion to the members of the deceased’s family, her extended national artistic family, as well as all her loved ones and fans, praying to the Almighty to grant them patience and solace.

His Majesty the King also expressed sharing the feelings of the deceased’s family during this painful ordeal, as divine will is unstoppable. He fondly recalled the merits of the late artist, her noble qualities, her sincere patriotism, and her unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne. On these blessed days of the holy month of Ramadan, His Majesty implored God to generously reward her for the distinguished services she rendered to her art and her homeland and to welcome her into His vast paradise among His virtuous servants.
