As part of its efforts to boost the economic dynamism and reinforce its role as a key player in supporting businesses and investment, the Fes-Meknes Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services is set to hold its annual general meeting for the first session of 2025 on Thursday, March 13, at 1:00 PM in the grand conference hall of the Fes Conference Center.
This meeting comes in the context of the chamber’s commitment to evaluating its achievements over the past year and exploring new opportunities for economic development in the region. During the session, the chamber will present the literary report on its activities up until March 2025, as well as provide the annual performance review for 2024. Additionally, the meeting will include the approval of the financial accounts and discussions on the budget and action plan for 2025.
Key agenda items include the presentation of the project for establishing the “Fès YouCode” programming and coding school, aimed at enhancing digital skills and supporting youth in the field of information technology. Also on the agenda is the rehabilitation project for the multi-service center in the Ain Cheqaf industrial zone, reflecting the chamber’s focus on developing infrastructure that supports businesses and investment.
At the strategic level, a series of national and international partnership agreements will be approved. These agreements include collaborations with the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises, the Regional Academy for Education and Training, the International Chamber of Commerce in Morocco, as well as international partnerships with organizations such as the Moroccan-Senegalese Chamber of Commerce, and chambers of commerce from Italy and Libya, aiming to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the region and its international partners.
Additionally, the meeting will review two supplementary agreements related to the development plan for the chamber and the establishment of the “Saiss Business Center,” along with a partnership with ZIWIIT, a company specializing in cybersecurity, reflecting the chamber’s focus on supporting digital transformation and enhancing information security in the economic sector.
This meeting is expected to result in significant decisions that will strengthen the Fes-Meknes region’s position as a promising economic hub by supporting investments, developing infrastructure, and expanding cooperation with various economic stakeholders.
