Adoption of Unified Social Register Data in the “Ramadan 1446” Food Aid Operation

Under the high royal instructions, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has launched the new edition of the “Ramadan 1446” food aid operation, which was inaugurated in Rabat by Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and Princess Lalla Khadija.

For the first time, this edition relies on the socio-economic data of households registered in the Unified Social Register, allowing the Ministry of Interior to update the lists of beneficiaries and enhance the efficiency of social programs.

One million households benefit from this initiative, with 74% of them residing in rural areas. The operation reinforces the values of solidarity and generosity towards vulnerable groups, including disadvantaged families, the elderly, widows, and people with disabilities.

With a financial allocation of 330 million dirhams, the operation includes the distribution of 34,280 tons of essential food supplies, supported by the Ministries of Interior and Endowments and Islamic Affairs, in line with the foundation’s goals of assisting the most needy and promoting humanitarian efforts.
