Pupils, educational staff, and administrative personnel in the national education sector are set to benefit from school holidays as per the academic calendar for the 2024-2025 school year.
The ministry has ensured the allocation of breaks after every seven weeks of study, while taking into account preparation periods for continuous assessments and other examinations.
According to the academic calendar, the third school holiday of this year will run from Sunday, March 16, to Sunday, March 23, 2025, lasting 8 days.
The fourth school holiday will take place from Sunday, May 4, to Sunday, May 11, 2025.
Key School Holiday Dates:
- Third Holiday: From Sunday, March 16, to Sunday, March 23, 2025 (8 days).
- Eid al-Fitr: From 29 Ramadan to 2 Shawwal 1446 (3 or 4 days).
- Labor Day: Thursday, May 1, 2025.
- Fourth Holiday: From Sunday, May 4, to Sunday, May 11, 2025 (8 days).
- Eid al-Adha: From 9 to 11 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 (3 days).
