As part of ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and improve road networks, Fes News has received information confirming that the Northern Provinces Development Agency in Tangier held a contract opening session on Friday, February 28, for the first phase of the Taounate road access improvement project. This phase extends from the city’s southern entrance to the Total gas station in the city center.
The session was attended by Abdellah Idrissi Bouzidi, Member of Parliament and President of Taounate’s Municipal Council, along with several local officials. Following the bidding process, the SNTRO company won the contract valued at approximately 111.5 million dirhams.
This project is part of a strategic initiative to upgrade the city’s road infrastructure, aiming to ease traffic flow and enhance public services.
On its official Facebook page, the Taounate Municipality praised the efforts of Governor of Taounate Province, Saleh Daha, for coordinating stakeholders to overcome previous challenges that delayed the project.
Construction is set to commence soon, with a strong emphasis on adhering to quality standards and deadlines, ensuring the project meets public interest and fulfills the expectations of Taounate’s residents.
