In line with the ongoing strategy to promote the rotation of leadership positions and open doors for young talents to take on responsibilities in security management, the General Directorate of National Security announced today, Saturday, February 15, 2025, a new list of ten appointments in leadership roles within the decentralized public security services in the cities of Targuist, Salé, Taourirt, Ouled Tayma, Tiznit, Tata, and Tangier.
The new appointments, approved by the Director General of National Security Abdellatif Hammouchi, include the appointment of a head of the police station in Targuist, a head of the general intelligence unit in Tata, and heads of two police districts in Salé and Taourirt.
These appointments also involved placing security personnel at the helm of other decentralized national security services, including appointing a head for a police administrative annex and a head for a unit within the regional intelligence service in Salé, as well as heads for traffic units in Tiznit and Ouled Tayma, along with heads of urban policing units in Salé and Tangier port.
These new appointments are part of a continuous work dynamic aimed at enhancing the efficiency and productivity of police human resources by facilitating the rotation of leadership positions and assigning field management responsibilities to highly trained and qualified security professionals capable of implementing action plans aimed at strengthening citizen security and ensuring the safety of their properties.
