The head of the Authenticity and Modernity Team in the House of Councillors, Karim Hammes, sent a written question to the Minister of Tourism, Traditional Industry and Social and Solidarity Economy, regarding the improvement and development of tourism in the resort of Pueblan in the Taza region.
In his correspondence, Hames explained that the mountains of the Taza region have witnessed heavy snowfalls in recent days, which made the region adorned with a charming white cover, which increased the beauty of its charming nature, and pointed out that the mountain resort of Pueblan is a real gem that reflects the splendor of the region, and attracts large numbers of Moroccan and foreign tourists, including nature and winter sports enthusiasts.
Despite its natural excellence, the resort suffers from a significant lack of basic equipment, such as health facilities and cafes, which could significantly contribute to boosting the economic and tourism activity of the region, the parliamentary advisor added.
He asked what measures the Ministry of Tourism will take to develop the area and improve its infrastructure, noting that Pueblan used to be an important stop for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts in the past.
Al-Hams called on the concerned ministry to enhance attention to the resort and work to provide it with the necessary facilities that will enable it to regain its leading position in the field of winter tourism and attract more visitors.
