Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah announced that 33,565 families have benefited from the direct housing support program as of December 27, 2024. During a parliamentary question session, the Minister explained that the program, which enjoys royal attention, aims to assist Moroccan families in acquiring housing by providing financial support of up to 100,000 dirhams.
Fettah revealed that the electronic platform dedicated to support received 125,280 applications, of which 111,569 were preliminarily accepted. She noted that 42% of the beneficiaries are women, while Moroccans living abroad represent 22% of the total beneficiaries.
The program, which started at the beginning of 2024 and will continue until 2028, aims to renew mechanisms for housing ownership assistance and enhance the purchasing power of Moroccan families.
