The Judicial Police Brigade in Ain Chock district of Casablanca, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, has arrested a 31-year-old man with a criminal record on suspicion of involvement in violent robberies targeting gas stations.
Initial investigations revealed that the suspect, who works at a used auto parts shop, forged car license plates which he used to carry out three violent robberies targeting employees at gas stations in both Casablanca and Bouskoura area.
Search and investigation operations led to the identification and arrest of the suspect, as well as the seizure of the vehicle used in the criminal operations. Security services continue their efforts to apprehend a second accomplice involved in the case.
The suspect has been placed in police custody pending judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover all details and circumstances of this case.
It is worth noting that this operation comes as part of the ongoing efforts by security services to combat crime and protect citizens’ property.
