The Moroccan national team triumphed in the Masters category at the World Sports Championship, delivering an outstanding performance in the team competition, which took place in an intensely competitive and passionate atmosphere.
The Moroccan team secured the gold medal with a total of 310 strokes, edging out the Lebanese team by just 7 strokes, as they claimed the silver medal with 317 strokes. The bronze medal went to the UAE team, who recorded 325 strokes, 37 over the average.
In the individual Masters category, Moroccan player Slimane Barada shone by claiming first place with 151 strokes, surpassing Lebanese player Samih Al-Zain, who finished second with 158 strokes. In a close competition for third place, both Lebanese Rashid Aql and Moroccan Jamal Mana tied, each scoring 159 strokes.
After the second round of the championship, the Moroccan team continues to lead the Men’s category, maintaining a strong position ahead of the UAE team in second place, while Qatar secured third. These results highlight the Moroccan team’s collective effort and tactical planning, solidifying their reputation as one of the leading powers in international sports.
