During a press conference, Imad Benjelloun, the General Manager of “Atoli Vita,” announced the preparations for the upcoming Textile and Leather Expo, set to take place in Casablanca from December 4 to 6. The event is organized in partnership with “Pyramid Group,” a company specializing in international exhibitions.
Benjelloun confirmed that the expo will host over 400 exhibitors representing 20 countries, with an anticipated attendance of approximately 12,000 visitors. The event aims to support the national textile and leather industries, elevate their international presence, and encourage trade and collaboration among participants.
He highlighted that the city of Fes will have a dedicated pavilion showcasing its excellence in traditional crafts such as leather and textiles. This collaboration with the National Federation of Leather Industries and its branches underscores Fes’ role as Morocco’s hub for artisanal industries.
Benjelloun also emphasized plans to organize traveling exhibitions in other Moroccan cities to ensure geographic balance in hosting expos and boosting the local economy. This initiative presents an opportunity to showcase the industrial capabilities and innovations of various Moroccan cities.
These efforts aim to strengthen Morocco’s presence in international markets, support various industrial sectors, stimulate economic growth, and create new opportunities for local and global cooperation.
