Karian Al Hajjawi Neighborhood in Ben Dibab Complains About Waste Accumulation and Fires at Moulay Idriss Embankment

The residents of the Karian Al Hajjawi neighborhood in Ben Dibab expressed their dismay at the disastrous and recurring situation around the Moulay Idriss embankment, where the accumulation of waste has led to the outbreak of fires and the emission of thick smoke, causing suffocation among the residents.

Over the past three days, the fire has continued day and night at the Moulay Idriss embankment bordering the Karian Al Hajjawi and Labita neighborhoods, prompting the concerned residents to express their growing concern about this recurring phenomenon.

The civil society actors in the Karian Al Hajjawi neighborhood extended their sincere gratitude to the security authorities and the civil defense for their efforts in extinguishing the fire, praising in particular the supervision of the administrative chief, Ben Dibab, on the operation until after midnight, as well as thanking the firefighters for their dedication in confronting the fire.

The residents called on the competent authorities to take strict measures to address the problem of waste accumulation and prevent the recurrence of ignition incidents in the future, in the hope of restoring stability and security in the vicinity of their homes.
