On Monday, September 30, 2024, the 15th edition of the Horse Fair opened at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center in El Jadida.
This prominent event, held under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, highlights Morocco’s rich equestrian heritage.
The opening ceremony was presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, who attended to observe the key activities featured in this year’s edition of the fair.
During the ceremony, several distinguished figures were introduced to His Royal Highness, including the President of the Fes-Meknes Regional Council, along with the presidents of other regional councils in the kingdom.
The Fes-Meknes region had a notable presence at this cultural event, underscoring its significance.
Notably, Khadija Adria, Vice President of the Fes-Meknes Regional Council in charge of cultural development and heritage, was among the official figures participating in the event.
The participation of the Fes-Meknes region in this year’s edition of the Horse Fair is marked by a pavilion showcasing the rich and diverse equestrian culture from the different provinces of the region.
The pavilion displays various traditional equestrian artifacts, including riders’ equipment and clothing, along with artistic and heritage items reflecting the deep cultural roots of these ancient practices.
