Morocco Defeats Lesotho in AFCON Qualifiers with a Last-Minute Goal

The Moroccan national team secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Lesotho in the second round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The only goal of the match was scored by Brahim Díaz in the third minute of added time, after skillfully dribbling past the opposing defense and slotting the ball into the net.

Despite Morocco’s dominance throughout the match, the team struggled to create many chances until coach Walid Regragui made key substitutions in the 57th minute, bringing on Díaz, Hakim Ziyech, Abde Ezzalzouli, and Youssef En-Nesyri.
