In a royal gesture reflecting the sovereign’s keen interest in Moroccan athletes, His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent warm congratulatory messages to the Moroccan Paralympic champions who achieved outstanding accomplishments at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
His Majesty specifically mentioned the gold medal winners:
- Fatima Ezzahra El Idrissi, who won gold in the marathon (T12 category) breaking the world record, and silver in the 1500m (T13 category).
- Aymane El Haddaoui, who clinched gold in the 400m (T47 category) with a world record, and bronze in the 100m (T47 category).
- Mouncef Bouja, who secured gold in the 400m (T12 category).
In his messages, the King praised the outstanding performance of these athletes, considering their achievements a source of pride for themselves and for Moroccan sports. He also wished them success in their promising sports careers, urging them to continue working with the same will, determination, and ambition to keep raising the national flag high in international events.
