FES NEWS MEDIA – NATIONAL DESK: The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, issued an official decision on Thursday, October 22, 2026, granting an exceptional posthumous promotion in rank to a police officer serving under the Casablanca Police Prefecture who passed away following severe physical injuries sustained while performing his field duties to safeguard public order and protect citizens and their property.
According to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the Director General instructed central human resources departments, in close coordination with the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel, to formally record this exceptional rank promotion in the late officer’s career file and ensure that all resulting full administrative and financial entitlements are transferred to his rightful beneficiaries and immediate family in recognition of his supreme professional sacrifice.
Comprehensive Social Support for the Fallen Officer’s Family and Institutional Recognition
Directives issued by Abdellatif Hammouchi to the Prefect of Police of Casablanca and the DGSN social welfare services also encompassed conveying official condolences and providing comprehensive material, moral, medical, and social support to the widow and children of the fallen martyr of duty, guaranteeing sustainable care and streamlining all administrative procedures related to their pension and social rights.
