Boulemane – On August 8, 2026, Boulemane Provincial Governor Allal El Baz presided over a ceremony honoring a number of participants and stakeholders in the second edition of the Boulemane Saffron and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Festival, in recognition of their contributions to the success of the event, which highlights the province’s economic, cultural, and development potential.
The ceremony featured the presentation of certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts to a number of participants, marking the conclusion of the festival, which provided an opportunity to promote saffron, medicinal and aromatic plants, and local products, while highlighting the role of cooperatives and local stakeholders in developing and marketing these products.
The event forms part of initiatives aimed at promoting the natural, economic, and cultural potential of Boulemane Province and encouraging local initiatives related to local products and the development of the local economy.
In the same context, the Boulemane Development Association, the festival’s organizing body, honored Boulemane Provincial Governor Allal El Baz in recognition of his support and involvement in organizing the second edition of the festival.
The initiative marked the closing stage of the festival, with the participation of various stakeholders, associations, cooperatives, and those interested in local products and medicinal and aromatic plants, as part of efforts to strengthen the presence of these products and promote the province’s potential.
