Taza – Le gouvernement a dévoilé les mesures prises pour soutenir les commerçants touchés par l’incendie qui s’est déclaré à “Qobbat Souk” dans la médina de Taza fin novembre 2025. Ces informations ont été communiquées dans une réponse officielle des Ministry of the Interior of Morocco et Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco à une question parlementaire posée par le député Ahmed El Abbadi.
Taza – The government has revealed measures taken to support traders affected by the fire that broke out at “Qobbat Souk” in the old city of Taza in late November 2025. The information was provided in an official response from the Ministry of the Interior of Morocco and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco to a parliamentary question submitted by MP Ahmed El Abbadi.

Selon les données figurant dans les correspondances officielles, l’incendie qui s’est déclaré le matin du 29 novembre 2025 a causé des dégâts dans plusieurs magasins de ce site historique. Les autorités locales et les services de la protection civile sont intervenus rapidement pour maîtriser l’incendie et empêcher sa propagation, sans faire de victimes.
According to the information contained in the official letters, the fire that broke out on the morning of November 29, 2025 caused damage to several shops within this historic commercial site. Local authorities and civil protection services intervened quickly to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading, with no casualties reported.

Le Ministry of the Interior of Morocco a indiqué qu’une commission mixte a été mise en place immédiatement après l’incident pour évaluer les pertes et établir la liste des personnes touchées. Au total, 45 commerçants ont été recensés comme victimes du sinistre.
The Ministry of the Interior of Morocco stated that a joint committee was formed immediately after the incident to assess the damage and identify the affected traders. In total, 45 traders were recorded as victims of the fire.

Dans le cadre du soutien apporté à cette catégorie, une enveloppe financière d’environ 2,25 millions de dirhams a été allouée sous forme d’aides directes, soit 50 000 dirhams pour chaque commerçant, afin de les aider à reprendre leur activité.
As part of the support measures, a financial package of approximately 2.25 million dirhams was allocated as direct assistance to the affected traders, amounting to 50,000 dirhams per trader, to help them resume their business activities.

La mise en œuvre de ce programme se fera dans le cadre d’un partenariat entre plusieurs départements et institutions publiques, notamment le Ministry of the Interior of Morocco, le Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco, le Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of Morocco, le Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy of Morocco ainsi que le Ministry of Economy and Finance of Morocco.

Le ministère a également indiqué que des études antérieures ont mis en évidence la nécessité d’améliorer les normes de sécurité et les infrastructures dans ces espaces, ainsi que d’adopter des approches modernes pour la gestion des marchés et la prévention des risques d’incendie.
The ministry also indicated that previous studies highlighted the need to improve safety standards and infrastructure within these spaces, as well as adopt modern approaches to market management and fire risk prevention.
