In support of Palestinian resilience and strengthening their ability to face challenges, an agreement was signed today, Wednesday, in Ramallah to finance the “Sumud” (Resilience) project between the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency and the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture. The project aims to empower Palestinian farmers in Jerusalem Governorate by providing the necessary support to enhance the sustainability of the agricultural sector. The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdel Rahim Mziyan, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the State of Palestine, along with several officials from the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency in Jerusalem.
In a related context, the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency signed today, Tuesday, in Jerusalem a financing agreement with Al-Maqasid Charitable Hospital Association to provide shelter for a number of patients from the Gaza Strip and their companions who have been unable to return to their homes due to the ongoing war on Gaza.
Regarding humanitarian aid, the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency implemented yesterday, Saturday, in Al-Bureij refugee camp in eastern Gaza, the third phase of the Moroccan humanitarian relief campaign targeting the most needy displaced families in the Gaza Strip. This campaign was funded by the Moroccan Association for Supporting Reconstruction in Palestine. These initiatives come as part of continuous efforts to support Palestinians in coping with the consequences of the humanitarian crisis and ongoing conflicts.
