A university professor was found dead inside his home in the Riyad neighborhood of Khouribga on Sunday, in circumstances described as mysterious and deeply troubling.
According to local sources cited by Al Omk, the deceased was born in 1985 and taught at the Faculty of Economics and Management affiliated with Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Beni Mellal. He was married, a father of two, and resided in the Tajziat Al Shabab area of Riyad.
The same sources reported that the professor was discovered hanged inside one of the rooms of his residence, in a disturbing scene that sparked shock and alarm. Emergency services, including local police, civil protection units, and local authorities, promptly responded to the scene.
The body was transferred to the Khouribga Provincial Hospital morgue for a medical autopsy. Meanwhile, the National Security services have launched a detailed investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor to determine the cause of death and the exact circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
The news has sent shockwaves through the academic community, especially among students and colleagues, who described the late professor as well-mannered, dedicated, and highly respected in his professional life.
