Based on accurate information provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, police officers at the Meknes Security Department arrested a suspect this morning, Thursday, July 10, 2025, on charges related to possession and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
The suspect was apprehended at the Meknes train station immediately after arriving on a train coming from one of the northern cities of the kingdom. A search revealed that he was carrying 1,200 tablets of the narcotic medication “Rivotril.”
The suspect is currently under judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine any further links to this criminal activity and to uncover all related offenses attributed to him.
