Fes, Morocco – As part of an intensive security operation launched by local law enforcement in the “Aouniat Al-Hajjaj” area of the Sais district, Fes News has learned that several suspects were arrested yesterday, Thursday, for alleged involvement in various criminal activities.
This operation targeted Douar Al-Idrissi and its surroundings with the aim of enhancing public safety and combating crime in all its forms.
According to sources, the detainees are suspected of crimes including drug trafficking of various substances, theft, and possession of illegal bladed weapons—crimes that have contributed to a growing sense of insecurity in the area.
All suspects have been placed under judicial custody for further investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution before being presented to the courts.
The operation has been widely welcomed by local residents, who expressed their relief at the security intervention aimed at eradicating crime hotspots and ensuring neighborhood safety.
